Musings & Chronicles

WARNING: This section may seem to be utter tosh. Stay away from it should you wish to retain your sanity.

Checkmate. Game Over. The abyss awaits you. Such has been the extent of your fall. No matter whether you were responsible, the fact remains that your loss is colossal. There is nothing ahead, but your duties. Keep your excuse of a life going on.

Your baggage has made you weak. Cast off that weight. Cast off that skin. Cast off those beliefs, those chains which hold you back. Become what you were; reckless, disobedient and undomitable. There is nothing to be lost. You know you are marked for victory; those marks were embossed and engraved by yourself. The Universe reverberates behind you; you can pass tremors through it; such is your aura. Don't fucking hold yourself back. Attack Attack Attack.

There's venom to be drunk. You have been drinking it, digesting it. The thirst still remains. Keep drinking it. There's nothing otherwise out here for you. It doesn't fucking matter whether you give a fuck or not. There's no one to hate or to envy and you know that. Let's see how much you can drink before you transform it to nectar if at all you are man enough to transform it.

The Steward and the King.

The Mask, The Grimace and The Defiance. Feeling naturally numb, enraged and detached. What the fuck is the purpose?

Why so silent God? I want you to be merciless, ruthless, unrelenting and downright brutal. I have earned the right to demand your tectonic rage. Spare me no quarter for I would have spared none. Rain down your hatred upon me.

Three hundred and sixty five days. The heat has toned down. Or rather you have been institutionalized. The strength proved to be enough. Barely. You know how it feels. But then, this is the only way you can live with. NO MORE.

You've made a promise. You chose this way. The torment has only just begun. Exhausted, demotivated, decapitated, deprived but you will ply on. You will not avoid it. You will not throw away your arms. You will not turn back. There shall be no excuses. Till the last ounce of your soul drains off, you will stand and do your duty without reservation or agenda. If this is to be your doom, then so be it. Remember, Defiance. You're not doing it for anyone, You owe this much to yourself. Honour, Pride, Solemnity and Oblivion.

You see your victory on their faces. That's not enough laddie. Blessed will be the day you gaze into the mirror and behold the victory on that face. The scale of the victory, completeness, depth. Perhaps that will also be the day when you shake hands with God.

Stoked. Amazing how you exuded your class. You've come of age, boy. What an answer! The Gods would have been proud. Go, just go, keep going.

The wager - Everything you've upheld in life, your life in short. The stakes - Total Loss or Complete Victory. Let's see how you play this. Both cases, you win. Either the joy of Complete Victory or the purity of endless pain.

24 months. Mental barrier breached. Steel, Steel, Steel.

Either the fairy tale or not. Let's measure the stoutness of your destiny.

Posted 31st December 2013

The phase returns back. You again move to adapt your game to the new level. In your complacency lies your liberation. If anyone in existence could lay claim to play this game long, its you. The Sun is out, its heating up but with a breeze blowing in. You've dared, go out and give the audience their desire - A mammoth innings of class, grace and above all patience.

Lots this week. You've embraced the possibility of defeat. Does that make you weak? No, it does not. You have not slackened your grasp on the horizons of victory and shall never do so. On the contrary this has made you more human, more alert, a better person and the man who can transcend victory, because it is never the end. The End is more sacred and beyond the precinct of defeats and victory.

With regards to that PARTICULAR matter, I give up. God, I accept I have lost. I may somehow manage to change my future, but I cannot change the futures of others. End of that matter.

All our life, we've stuck with the policy "Take it or leave it". No bargains, No compromise. Violate it and you lose the core of your soul. Remember always.

Posted 15th September 2013.

A Man chooses his Destiny, that's what they say. They could have known better. For; in your case, Destiny has chosen her Man. Hence, it does not require "Courage" as we know it, to play. It requires Courage beyond our understanding of the word "Courage". So simply, play along as Destiny wishes you to.

"And he lived happily ever after" is not the theme of our life. The dream theme to die for would be something like "And he never looked back".

Long have you played on your back foot. Long have you gnawed at your shadows. Long have you doubted yourself, punished yourself. Come back, Love. Come back on to the front foot, your natural mode of play. History shall not blame you. Come back. Get back that little boy with the stars in his eyes, get back that miracle merchant. Bring back the energy, bring back those times.

Dream.
Rise.

A short pass. Another short pass. Back to the former. A short pass. Overlap and do the triangle. Another short pass. Back to the former. Keep the ball rolling. Engage the opponent that is your mind. Do anything but don't give the ball away. Tire the opponent down. It was always about playing the Game for sake of playing the Game. Be at it till the ball and you and the opponent dissolve. Lo, the Game is revealed.

You were offered a choice. Full blown glory with largesse or Solemnity with obscurity. Your choice has made me proud dear fellow. Go, summon the guts to live your dream.

You moron, how could you for so long a time be under the delusion that you were pulling the strings? Again you've reinforced your mediocrity.

You promised them Madness. Let's turn the volume on a bit. To war and victory with flamboyance, We will burn out the night.

Less than one hour to go before September 1st passes away. I promise, the next three months will be ruthless and exhilarating.

It takes but a moment to scuttle the best laid plans. It takes but a moment to malign a well rehearsed symphony. It takes but a moment to turn a loss into a victory. It takes just a moment to turn it around. It may take an eternity to achieve that moment. The moment is the prize, not the victory or loss. It takes a genius to grab that moment and trap it for ever.

Does a person necessarily have to be famous (in his own little way even for a tiny amount of time)? Should he be too paranoid over it? Can being not famous deliberately count as an achievement to be famous about? Probably not, it would then lead to anonymous people unspoken or unheard of being famous, without them being actually known.

Something gnaws at me, the more I try to structure myself, the more I fall apart. A vicious parody I have become. The ultimate desire is always to master time and well its turning out to be a job of chasing one's tail. I see flames and fire, these crackle away raising my enthusiasm, energy and suddenly a they turn around to burn me. Yet I love them, they are the very life and the basis of my existence. There is always that burning desire to be at the top of my game and yet there is always a lacuna hidden somewhere. Someday, I will seize it by its throat and declare my victory.
